London Drugs partners with Seniors Secret Service to collect items for socially isolated seniors
This holiday season, we are pleased to partner with London Drugs to collect items on our Santa’s Wish List. The joint donation drive, called ‘Stocking Stuffers for Seniors,’ will help fulfill last minute gift requests for isolated seniors who are living in independent seniors housing, assisted living or palliative care facilities or who are hospitalized over Christmas.
To support Stocking Stuffers for Seniors, visit any London Drugs location in Calgary or Airdrie to drop off new, unwrapped items from the wish list at the Customer Service Desk no later than December 16th. Drop off new, unwrapped wishlist items , or choose a tag from the tree in-store that contains common wish list items or everyday essentials needed by local seniors. All donations will help us fulfill gifts for hospitalized seniors, gifts for new seniors entering long-term care facilities or late/unfulfilled gift requests.
Seniors Secret Service and Stocking Stuffers for Seniors supporters are being asked to post on social media using the #StockingStuffers4Seniors hashtag to help spread the word about this year’s campaign.
London Drugs stores across Western Canada are partnering with hundreds of seniors’ homes and organizations to help make this year’s holidays brighter for the seniors.
“This campaign is something each of our employees can be proud of, and it’s a way for us to connect our generous customers and seniors in our communities during the busy holiday season,” says Benjamin Pullein, Store Manager, at London Drugs in Calgary.
