Seniors Secret Service: 34 years of bringing cheer to isolated seniors

By In Blog On April 7, 2020

In 1985, our spirit was born when Seniors Secret Service Founder Donna Jones was volunteering as a “friendly visitor” at a care facility. Today, all of our lives has been altered as we unite to flatten the curve of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Family members and friends, muchless “Friendly visitors” are unable to visit their loved ones in our local care centres. The cheer we bring isolated seniors looks different for the forseeable future. We are making and delivering cards, gifts and items our seniors need and don’t have a loved one able to provide to them.

Throughout the last 34 years, we have found a community of individuals and corporations across Alberta that shares our passion. Our service is changing for the time being, and we invite you to participate. Donors and volunteers are the backbone of our organization and truly make our work possible. Thank you.
